New Bowling Record for Wheelchair Users Driving by Head Control

Did you know that we keep wheelchair bowling records for people who fit in different categories? We do!

The IKAN Bowler® enables all types of wheelchair users to be able to bowl, and we have been tracking the records at WheelchairBowlingRecords.com.

Kenny Salvini just broke the record for a male wheelchair user driving by head array control.

Details – including a video clip of the final shot – are HERE!

I also gave a little insight into Kenny and some of his endeavors at the above link.

Keep up the excellent work Kenny!

About billgator97

I started this blog to highlight how wheelchair users, especially power wheelchair users, are being empowered through sport, in particular: dynamic wheelchair bowling. It's actually bowling that emulates the able-bodied bowling process, i.e. setup, then physically approach and release the ball upon stopping short of the foul line. I happen to be paralyzed from my neck down, and ventilator-dependent, yet I've actually bowled 24 legitimate games of 200 or better. I say that NOT to brag, but to show what is possible and make the point that ANY wheelchair user who can safely operate their chair, they can bowl (I helped invent a device that makes it possible). Please look around and feel free to ask any questions! Thanks and God bless!

  1. Thanks for all the kind words, brother! So glad you guys invented such a cool piece of adaptive equipment. Proud of my record, but hoping to get even more people out using the bowler to break it soon!
